At Bourne Christian Centre we have a committed team who plan and organise a variety of activities and sessions, based on the Scripture Union Light curriculum, for children and youth from walking age to 16. All workers are DBS checked and have completed online child protection training.
On Sunday mornings the children stay in the meeting until 11am. There are colouring sheets and clipboards that they can take back to their seats and enjoy. A special toddler and baby zone at the back allows parents with young children to relax and listen to the meeting whilst entertaining, feeding or changing their little ones. At 11am, the children are taken, by their parents, to the Bourne Rooms (just across the carpark) where they are signed in to their groups and given a numbered ticket. Stewards are on hand to show you where to go and aid safe passage across the carpark.
Parents must collect their children promptly at the end of the service with their allocated ticket number.

At 11am the youth go to their group independently and spend their time catching up on their weeks, following the Scripture Union Light curriculum and maybe having a cuppa and a snack or two. They return to the main building when the main meeting has finished.
Seventeen and eighteen year olds are encouraged to stay in the main meeting but there is a youth homegroup they can attend every other week.
It is our aim to provide opportunity for the children and youth to experience God for themselves, to learn to worship and talk to Him daily, rely on His Holy Spirit and use the Bible as a tool to help them day by day.
